- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of butter

- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated

- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Add the chicken pieces to the mixture and ensure they are well coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until golden brown and caramelized.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the tomato puree and cook over medium heat for a few minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.
Add the heavy cream and sugar to the sauce, stirring well to combine the ingredients. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Meanwhile, grill or pan-fry the marinated chicken pieces with a little oil until they are cooked through and golden brown.
Add the grilled chicken pieces to the sauce and mix well to coat them thoroughly. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
